Everyday Ethics: Key Ethical Questions for Grantmakers and Grantsekers (Workbook)
Sandra Trice Gray, ed. (Independent Sector, 1993)

Specifically designed as a companion workbook to IS’s Ethics and the Nation’s Voluntary and Philanthropic Community (see separate listing) with special sections on grantmaking and grantseeking behavior, it is a tool for nonprofit organizations to begin a process of self-evaluation. Created to stimulate thinking and engagement, the workbook contains a series of more than 50 questions for reflecting on the ethical behavior of an organization in order to bind people together with common themes on individual and collective behaviors within organizations. It contains a series of key questions that can serve as a centerpiece for reflecting on the ethical behavior of an organization. It includes over 50 questions cutting across the sector’s diversity, binding it together with common themes on the individual and collective behaviors within its organizations. The key ethical questions have been formatted into a workbook style to stimulate thinking and discussion; there are no “right” or “wrong” answers; what is important is finding ways to reflect on these questions that are right for your organization. Softcover, 20 pages, $10 (Nonmember), $7 (Member) (plus $2.50 shipping)
