The
mission of the Center for the Study of Voluntary Organizations and Service
is to build a multidisciplinary set of courses across several graduate
programs, including public policy, business, foreign service, and ethics,
to provide opportunities in these graduate programs to pursue specialized
studies about the nonprofit sector, philanthropy, and voluntary service.
Furthermore, the Center sponsors and encourages multidisciplinary and
public policy research about the nonprofit sector, philanthropy, and
voluntary service. The Center sponsors graduate fellowships for
Second-year public policy students pursuing focused study and career
interests in leadership and research in the nonprofit sector.
